Week 1: First Week of Our Campaign

Hi, Colorado Voter!

I'm so excited to be on this journey to become the next Colorado Secretary of State and to have you along. Thanks for signing up for email updates!

During this first week, many people have complimented my candidate website. I'm proud that it is so educational on Colorado, U.S. and world election issues.

I became a candidate because I want to give voters a different choice – a choice that focuses on Colorado's unique issues. For instance, the other candidates aren't talking about the fact that Colorado has eroded The Right to Vote since 2020 in two kinds of elections.

About 1/3 of the states allow 17-year-olds who will be 18 in the November election to vote in the primary. In Colorado, these almost-18-year-olds were able to vote in the 2020 primary elections, but not again in any recent years. Celeste has been the strongest voice of all the candidates for re-enfranchising these young voters.

Colorado passed two bills in 2025 which call for government-run elections to fill a seat, but which, for the first time in U.S. history, only allow people with certain political affiliations to vote. Celeste is the only candidate who has pointed out that these elections are unconstitutional. As Secretary of State, Celeste would uphold her oath to the constitution and refuse to conduct these elections.

This campaign will only succeed through grassroots activism and support.
